LaborMAX Staffing is hiring dependable Lumber Yard Operators for a busy lumber yard. We're looking for safety-focused candidates with forklift experience who are ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
🔹 Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely
🔹 Pull, stage, and load customer and delivery orders
🔹 Unload incoming shipments and verify manifests
🔹 Band, store, and move lumber products
🔹 Perform daily forklift inspections
🔹 Assist with inventory counts and yard organization
🔹 Maintain clean and safe work areas
🔹 Follow all safety procedures and company policies
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
✔ 1–4 years of forklift or heavy equipment experience
✔ Lumber or building materials experience preferred
✔ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
✔ Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Good communication skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
🔹 Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
🔹 Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors throughout the day
🔹 Ability to bend, kneel, and move materials as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
• 18+ years old
• Previous forklift experience required
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
