Part-Time /**TEMP to HIRE**
The Quality Control (QC) Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet established standards of quality, including reliability, usability, and performance. This role involves inspecting materials and finished products, identifying defects, and reporting findings to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using measuring tools and visual inspection techniques.
Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials and finished goods.
Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare inspection reports.
Identify, document, and report defects, non-conformities, and deviations from standards.
Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Perform calibration and maintenance of testing equipment as required.
Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations (e.g., ISO, GMP, HACCP).
Participate in internal audits and support external audits.
Continuously seek improvements in quality processes.
Requirements
- May require standing for long periods. May involve working in manufacturing, lab, or warehouse environments. Use of PPE (personal protective equipment) may be required.
