Job Description
Direct and control vehicle traffic safely through construction or work zones. Use STOP/SLOW paddles, hand signals, or flags as appropriate. Set up and take down traffic control devices (cones, signs, barricades). Maintain a safe work environment by monitoring traffic and communicating hazards. Coordinate with other flaggers or construction personnel via two-way radios or hand signals. Follow all ATSSA, OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols. Report any incidents, unsafe conditions, or hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Requirements
Valid ATSSA Flagger Certification (or the ability to take and pass our certification course). Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours/day). Reliable transportation to job sites (often in different locations). Excellent attention to detail and strong situational awareness. Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.). Strong communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instruction. Must be punctual, dependable, and safety-oriented.
