Risk Services Administrative Assistant

This position is an immediate and exciting opportunity in our corporate office in Kearney, MO. We are looking for an organized, results driven and self-motivated individual. Responsibilities:
*Execute outbound calls to verify information from medical facilities and providers. 
*Communicate with claimants and branch office personnel about claims and required documents. 
*Review and follow-up on claims documents, checking for accuracy and missing information. 
*Coordinate and communication follow-up on restricted duty for injured employees.
*Answer phone calls and respond to general internal and external inquiries.
*Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously; with an ability to prioritize.
*Reviews and responds to Certificate of Insurance requests. 
*Handles a wide variety of confidential and time sensitive matters and must be able to keep matters confidential.
*Run various reports and organize data to support risk services. 
*Perform other duties as assigned. 


Required Qualifications:
*Ability to work in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet. 
*Outstanding customer service skills.
*High School graduate with one year of administrative experience.
*Good verbal, written and social communication skills. 
*Ability to listen and follow established protocols. 
*Attention to detail and the ability to monitor and track claim development. 
*Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
