Job Description
You will Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
Interpret blueprints to identify weld symbols
Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various
positions
Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards
Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner
Exposed to loud noise, humid conditions, extreme weather including but not limited
to heat, cold, rain
Operate fabrication equipment, Jib cranes, overhead cranes, forklift, and pallet jack
What You Will Need
5+ Years Experience
Must pass MIG weld test. Test is a guided bend test that consist of two one-inch
3x6” plates. 1 plate is beveled and 1 plate is squared. Must be able to do full pin
test with back gouge.
Read blueprints
Ability to read a tape measure
Able and willing to cross train as required
Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies, rules, and regulations
Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment, with strong work
ethic, pay attention to detail and find root causes for issues
Ability to operate fabrication machines in a safe manner without supervision
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and steps, work outside under all
weather conditions when needed
Must be able to work overtime, either planned or unplanned as business requires
Must possess work ethic and ability to be punctual
Stand for long periods of time
Immediately report any “near misses”, accidents, and/or injuries to your manager
