Job Description
Physical labor position involving hosing down machines, scooping soy, etc.
This is a temp-to-hire position!
Industrial Sanitation -- Grain processing warehouse.
Every employee that is hired on full time is hired into our sanitation department, the starting pay rate for (full-time) Sanitation Technicians is over $20/hour.
Being a union plant, our employees are promoted based on their seniority for job bidding once a position is open.
As a Sanitation Technician, you will be Sanitizing the warehouse, grain bin areas, and elevators.
Requirements:
-Must pass a drug screen.
· May need to wear a respirator.
· Could be working in small spaces.
· No fear of heights
· Steel toe boots are required & 100% cotton clothing only. (Jeans and shirts with sleeves)
· Must be able to work in all weather.
· Must be able to bend, twist, and lift at the waist 50lbs.
· Must have GED/Diploma when completing the on-boarding process. Must pass a drug screen.
