Job Description
***TEMP TO HIRE OPPORTUNITY PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR***
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm & 2nd Shift 2pm-11pm Weekly Pay DOE
Responsible for machining material required per order to meet scheduled requirements.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand.
Set up and operate hydraulic press brake for established work
Understand dimensions and tolerances of formed part
Ability to calculate bend locations, appropriate tonnage and tooling for each part being formed
Operators will be required to verify all parts are present and correctly formed to specs and will notify management if the project is missing parts or if a part is incorrect
Skilled in organizing work area before and after parts are processed, stacking completed parts properly on tables or pallets to eliminate double handling and work efficiently
Keeping production board updated with status of orders in Press Brake department
Perform routine maintenance on the machine
Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine within capabilities. Reports all machine malfunctions to Management.

We ask your cooperation in helping to promote safety and to prevent accidents by following the rules and regulations that are in place.
Housekeeping – it is your responsibility to keep your work area clean and safe at all times. A 10 minute clean up time at the end of your shift. This time is used for cleaning and organizing your work area. Examples would be rolling up cords, put tools away, sweep floor and empty trashcans. Must be able to lift 75 lbs at times.
Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.
