According to the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), 92% of construction firms nationwide are struggling to hire, and nearly half have delayed projects because of workforce shortages. While Texas and New Mexico are seeing job gains, Washington construction firms are losing ground — not because of a lack of projects, but because of a lack of workers.
